Does it crash in vanilla, non-Staging Wine?
Yes, I am able to reproduce the exact same crash and error message on app-emulation/wine-vanilla-11.11 and 11.12. i was experiencing the same issue and can no longer reproduce this with 11.20.
Can you confirm?
