Install PowerPoint Viewer 2007 (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=048dc840-14e1-467d-...) into empty wine prefix. 2. Install DCOM98 using winetricks:
winetricks dcom98
3. Start PowerPoint Viewer 2007:
wine 'C:\Program files\Microsoft Office\Office12\PPTVIEW.EXE'
4. Move cursor over PowerPoint Viewer's file choose dialog or any other window.
