Good news!  I ran up2date, got the latest libGL, and it works!

Good RPM: xorg-x11-Mesa-libGL-6.7.0-11

I haven't gotten the sound working, and it's dreadfully slow (at 1600x1200
resolution), but those are probably answered elsewhere.
