In attachment there are simple application and its sources which tries to download data from URL: "http://mapview.dyndns.org/Czech Republic - Ceska Republika/CR-Mapy KCT/77_77 jihlavske vrchy/coordinates_list", but in wine we get 404 because spaces is not escaped. The error occurs when the launcher is trying to patch the game. err:wininet:HTTP_HttpOpenRequestW Unable to escape string!(L"/acpatch/2006051701_0605171155/all/HelpContent/ALLEGIANCE TOOLS.ksml") (-2147467261) If I do a google search for the "err:wininet:HTTP_HttpOpenRequestW Unable to escape string!" part I find that several other games are running into the same issue. Wine is build with only win 32 support but my Funtoo install is 64-bit. With a fresh wine profile the test app works/ as soon as i install any version of IE it starts to fail. No IE6/7/8 winetricks recipes needed. Since some people stated 'fixed' and the attached test app is broken (host doesn't resolve) assuming 'fixed'.
