Yes, It work on Wine 1.7.33. But the window it is not asin windows. There is no window with "index", "search". It open as html with link. May be It correct?
Search isn't implemented (bug 7636), but there is a tab for it, as well as tabs for "index" and "favorites." The index works fine here on 1.7.33 when opening php_enhanced_en.chm. Sergey, when you tested this, did you use "wine64" in the command line rather than just "wine"? If not: do you have a proper WoW64 setup? I have classic menu indicator, and I can open configuration file wine. When I open some file of windows only this file show my bar. the wine icon not shown. May be it work automatically, I have wine1.7 i386 and x64. My Ubuntu version is 14.10 X64. I not open from terminal it not opened. The original problem reported here, a crash when using an old version, has been reported fixed by upgrading to the current development release, so I'm going to mark this one fixed.
