All Wine requirements are installed, I'm able to run UbisoftConnect or other programs but I can't run G Hub. I really want to move Windows to trash but as I am a gamer, I can't move without this kind of program. When attemping to install G Hub I firstly received an error saying that advapi32.dllwas not found. Then, I tried to install .NET v4.0 from winetricks and another crash happens. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=56301 imccluney@comcast.net changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |imccluney@comcast.net --- Comment #3 from imccluney@comcast.net --- I am using wine-staging 11.0, and I can confirm that it returns the missing DLL error. Strangely, advapi32.dll does appear inside ./.wine/drive_c/windows/system32/ and ../syswow64/, so I am not sure where Logitech G HUB under Wine is expecting the file. But then, I'm not sure what the System.DllNotFoundException message is about. Unknown assembly? Unknown type? Null member? This is presumably specific to G HUB, as a grep search fails to yield a single result for DllNotFoundException. I then replaced advapi32.dll inside Wine's System32 and SysWOW64 with Microsoft's versions and tried to rerun the installer just to see what would happen, and—yep—I get the same unhandled exception. I don't know where to look next, so I would appreciate more clues, as this issue does affect me, a Logitech user, as well. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. After installing .net48 the error is gone and the install windows comes up.
