The sliders can be interacted with in two ways: 1. Holding down the slider arrow button, dragging the mouse up or down on the slider to move the slider cursor around, then releasing the mouse to close the slider. 2. Clicking once on the slider arrow button, then dragging the slider cursor to move it around. The slider window only disappears when there is a click event outside the slider window or the Fireworks window loses focus. On Wine, the second option does not work properly. Clicking once on the slider arrow, dragging the slider around, then clicking on an area outside the slider does not dismiss the slider. The Fireworks window has to lose focus for the window to disappear, which is an annoyance. To reproduce: 1. Start Fireworks 8 and select the Create New Fireworks File option in the main window and accept the default setting. 2. Select the Text tool, either by pressing the T key or selecting the A icon under the Vector toolbar on the left hand side. 3. In the Properties window at the bottom of the window, there are several slider controls that can be used to reproduce the problem which are denoted by a button with a down arrow.
