Many books are marked as new, even though they have been opened and partly read on a different device (Android tablet or Kindle for PC running on Windows XP native). On start-up after a reinstall, the program said it could not find the directory. The other backtraces looked like they were generated on an i386 arch machine. Just wanted to add this in case it narrows down where the problem is originating, since it also occurs on X64 machines.
