[Bug 8988] Sacred: choppy video and sound; sprites cannot be seen.
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8988 --- Comment #25 from Antonio López <amlopezalonso(a)gmail.com> 2007-08-15 14:38:10 --- I upgraded my ATI drivers and ...... forgot I was using Xgl :-P, so I turned back to standard Xorg and found that: 1) Movement is much more smooth (though it is still choppy). So, I could admit it's because of those crappy drivers. 2) Sound still stutters (though somewhat softier). I don't know why. Now right when I choose a character to play with, the game freezes and the following appears: wine: Unhandled page fault on write access to 0x000003b4 at address 0x7dd3a650 (thread 0009), starting debugger... Unhandled exception: page fault on write access to 0x000003b4 in 32-bit code (0x7dd3a650). This happens even when I tried several settings (both graphics and sound).
