[Bug 59773] New: Programs installed with wine do not follow desktop scaling
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59773 Bug ID: 59773 Summary: Programs installed with wine do not follow desktop scaling Product: Wine Version: 11.9 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: trivial Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@list.winehq.org Reporter: sfinlayson126@gmail.com Distribution: --- Created attachment 80981 --> http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=80981 wine configuration app is very small I have a 1920x1080 display that I have set to 125% scaling through gnome's settings. When I open the wine configuration app, wine mine, and dungeondraft they are scaled so the ui is too small to read. I can partially fix this by changing the screen resolution but then when I switch to my external monitor (1440p at 100% scaling) everything is way to big and I need to restart my apps. I tested this in wine 11.0 (staging) and 11.9 (latest). # System Details Report --- ## Report details - **Date generated:** 2026-05-20 06:14:32 ## Hardware Information: - **Hardware Model:** ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. Note DPI may cause unexpected game resolution/zoom as reported by this bug but unclear how it should be handled for now: https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59078#c13 -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
