[Bug 9316] New: some programs won't launch in 0.9.43

I have two game programs (Windows Spider Solitaire and Taipei3) that have run nicely on all the Wine releases up to 0.9.43. But now, after installing 0.9.43, one of them (Taipei3) will NOT launch. (I see this failure on two separate Linux boxes...a desktop and a laptop, after upgrading to 0.9.43 on both.) My Linux desktop is KDE. The exact failure symptom is that the bouncing launch-icon continues to bounce until the launch times out, but no gui/window from the game ever appears. Cheers... Is Taipei3 a 16-bit app? If so, dupe of bug 9249. Try current git or wait for wine 0.9.44 where that bug is fixed.
