I started seeing these logs recently for seemingly arbitrary varieties of apps which may be related to hanging, freezing, crashing: 0494:err:msg:process_hardware_message unknown message type 1 Some apps seem not to freeze regardless of logs which seem to have been introduced fairly recently.
