This started to appear with the 11.02.2012 patch (added Amerish Continent). Beforehand it worked fine. Meanwhile there has been an new Patch which didn't fix it. According to the Comments on the AppDB page for the Game this issue occurs with Nvidia driver 304.64/60 and 310.14. I tested with all combinations of Windowed/Full screen/Full screen Window and Emulated Desktop On/Off with no change. Game Graphics setting also make no Difference. I tested it on Git Builds of Wine (self compiled), I did not change the Build over the patch (same build before and after the patch), and any newer build did not fix it. (propably need Beta Login to read). Using a Native imm32.dll from a windows installation and override it fixes the problem. For me in-game menus (Esc,Map,terminal) still crashes the game even with imm32.dll set to native,builtin from dll-files.com
What happens when override is set to "native"?
