Do you have any profiler statistics? No, I haven't got any profiler statistics, but I can try to get one if it helps. I will need a guide how to do it though. There are several reasons I'm blaming DIB engine for slowness. 1. First I reported this bug #12612. As an attachment there is a console output from Heroes IV under wine. Roderick Colenbrander kindly answered my questions, and directed me to this bug report and this wiki http://wiki.winehq.org/DirectDraw. 2. I found this bug #3902, which is tagged as CLOSED and FIXED. While the fix was released and the author claimed it worked, the fix was rejected due to regression bugs (see comment #14).
