The standard view doesn't ever come up. It says "<email> loading..." (with empty progress bar). Switching to simple HTML view works. After installing IE7 via winetricks. I was able to reach the initial login page, but the actual login process failed. According to Google's browser compatibility list for Gmail AMP: https://developers.google.com/workspace/gmail/ampemail/supported-platforms Internet Explorer is completely unsupported.
