In 9.7, the game just never plays the video and is stuck in a black screen, and with newer versions of Wine it just crashes the game. This is a regression in 9.7 caused by commit: e870f31d773376f3824c7803b5451f7025c3e92b winegstreamer: Reduce CLSID_decodebin_parser merit, so the MPEG splitter is chosen instead for MPEGs. Reverting it against 9.7 using `patch -p1 -R` fixes the issue, reverting against latest Wine 11.12 (when accounting for some changes since then) also fixes it. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
