The game starts properly in plain Wine. Bisecting resulted in the following Staging commit: 3fd8aa662f91939c00e4d2c6df2831edf02edfc8 is the first bad commit commit 3fd8aa662f91939c00e4d2c6df2831edf02edfc8 Author: Erich E. I'm not going to be in a position to look at this for a while, but if you don't mind having it print out the path then the last one before the crash might give a clue as to what's going on.
