Age  of Empires II Error Logs

Both throw the same message: MCI Error, There is an undetectable problem in
loading the specified device driver.

The base edition shows the error once and loads after an "OK" and pressing
escape after the "OK," and The Conquerors expansion shows the error three times
and hitting the escape key before advancing to the menu.

I will show logs for both errors.

Demo Output

Sorry for not doing this in advance.

According to the performance, the demo did not exhibit the same error message
and ran pretty well. The music wasn't there, but it may be that it wasn't there
in the demo version only.

OK, I tried to install icodecs with winetricks and the problem is solved.

Also, do use cnc-ddraw to straighten out the resolution so that things don't
get cut-off.

Nothing was fixed in Wine. We shouldn't close this bug until the program works
without any external DLLs or modifications.
