What Wine version are you using? Also please attach terminal output.
Wine is the latest, did the download few days ago from the ubuntu package directly. Sorry, how do i attached the terminal output, and what is it ? Try DIB Engine from bug #421 It is in usable state and should improve your work with AutoCAD 2006. I can not reproduce bug posted by martin. I can open/run AutoCAD 2006 without fatal errors. btw.
