In my real windows box, some screen configuration are not listed by star wars old republic. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. Since Wine 4.0, The screen resolution 1366x768 is unavailable in "NieR:Automata" (DXVK 0.96).
Bug seems typo'd for 1366x768 vs 1368x768. Bug may be closed as fixed. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46687 --- Comment #5 from Stian Low <wineryyyyy@gmail.com> --- Created attachment 81787 --> http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=81787 Screenshot wine-4.0~rc2 for Gothic II with resolution 1368x768 available (In reply to Ken Sharp from comment #4) wine-4.0~rc2 tested (via Debian 13) via: https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/debian/pool/main/ Despite screenshot proving some wine-4.0 commit supported 1368x768, it's possible a regression was introduced during 4.0 that was fixed.
How on Earth is this fixed? How on Earth is such an ambiguous bug met with "How on Earth"?
It may have been fixed just as likely as invalid given the time diff between report and response. It may have been system/user specific vs wine but without a specific commit/regression test it seems unclear either way. But since it seems beyond Earthrealm comprehension why fixed may be suggested: - WINED3D was also reported bugged for wine 4.0 so not just DXVK - EnumAdapterModes provides d3d with resolutions based on shared libs external to d3d so if both were bugged then it seemed plenty possible wine may have introduced a regression. Unclear if DXVK shared same wined3d dependencies at the time.
OP never responded. DXVK is not supported. OP was never responded to until after nearly 3 years which is a bit too late.
OP seemed aware DXVK was not supported and provided WINED3D test cases also bugged. I gave OP benefit of the doubt that they knew what they were reporting. I have no pref regarding fixed or invalid status because neither seem of Outworld logic. Thanks for closing/resolving bug which is most relevant. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. Bug seems typo'd for 1366x768 vs 1368x768.
1366x768 actually seems not a typo but rather my Debian 13 system reports non-standard resolution 1368x768 instead. 1366x768 issues have been reported previously which may further help resolve related bugs. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas v1.01 seems more clearly close as invalid: https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=33344#c6 https://bugs.winehq.org/buglist.cgi?bug_status=UNCONFIRMED&bug_status=NEW&bu... NieR and other games seem to provide resolution options according to xrandr regardless so if 1366x768 were listed then it would likely appear in list. Otherwise it may be a game specific issue like GTA. xrandr Screen 0: minimum 16 x 16, current 1920 x 1200, maximum 32767 x 32767 eDP-1 connected primary 1920x1200+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 350mm x 220mm 1920x1200 59.88*+ 1600x1200 59.87 1440x1080 59.99 1400x1050 59.98 1280x1024 59.89 1280x960 59.94 1152x864 59.96 1024x768 59.92 800x600 59.86 640x480 59.38 320x240 59.29 1680x1050 59.95 1440x900 59.89 1280x800 59.81 1152x720 59.97 960x600 59.63 928x580 59.88 800x500 59.50 768x480 59.90 720x480 59.71 640x400 59.95 320x200 58.14 1920x1080 59.96 1600x900 59.95 1368x768 59.88 1280x720 59.86 1024x576 59.90 864x486 59.92 720x400 59.27 640x350 59.28 -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
