At this point there is a next button to press but nothing happens. Looking at the console output it looks like the installer is trying to load a dll and its failing. The installer is only accessible from a running VMWare ESXi server. That file exists and I can cat it from another console session. Also, I have successfully installed Steam in a different wine prefix just fine. It's in a package called unixodbc on 32-bit Ubuntu. No, that's the 64-bit version. On 64-bit Ubuntu 10.04 the file of interest is /usr/lib32/libodbc.so.1.0.0. The link is here: http://www.chotchki.us/wine.nolibodbc.7z (uncompresses to 15GB). I guess this means there is an issue with libodbc.
