Still present in Wine-11.17. The intro videos and the main menu are rendered correctly, but several submenus contain graphical corruption: - Credits: large black rectangles with scattered coloured pixels appear instead of parts of the credits text. - Options menu: In the '3D engine', 'Next session' name is replaced by horizontal white lines. - New Game / Book Name: the book name text is replaced by a solid coloured rectangle with a few stray pixels. The corruption always occurs in the same places. The problem is reproducible with both rendering modes supported by the game: Software and DirectHAL. I also confirmed the bug exists with Nvidia binary drivers and nouveau. Affects both the Steam and GOG version of the game. The game does not have a demo. I bisected the regression to: commit 624a73bcbceec13e57fcfdd8ee2f031f78933395 win32u: Reject DDBs that are not 1-bit or 32-bit for GetDIBits(). The commit can be cleanly reverted on top of Wine 11.17. and after reverting it all of the affected menu graphics are rendered correctly again. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. Looking into this.
