@Andre, I tried that already, needs some 32-bit development libraries that I'm getting Laurent to install. According to AJ, we need to define _WIN64 on 64-bit archs. d67275fed84e74072d202fc98c205f40c6d18b63 is in, but it needs much more work to get sparc64/powerpc64 to work. i doubt that we want that.
