wine output when bug appears

Alesis drum kits software for interfacing with PC. Installation fails, wants to
be run as administrator. Downloaded from the inMusic site.

Attached is the output of the wine command when trying the install.

Hi, I tried the app, and I guess you mean that it wants to be run as normal
user, instead of administrator? Could you try run it in wine-staging and see if
it works ? Thanks in advance for reporting back.

a snippet of wine +all log

Here's a more detailed log leading to the failure.

Note that it's possible to bypass the installer by unpacking the exe with
7-zip, then running the inner installer with:

wine Update.exe  --install .

(but the installed application still fails to start for me)
