Wine can't magically make this to work if there is no support from Linux kernel side (USB client device/driver). Simple thing: don't buy products from vendors that offer no Linux support if you intend to use it with Linux. Anyway, the crash is still present and can be also reproduced with 'GpsGate Client for Windows'. The kernel driver itself won't be useful at all with Wine but at least the crash should be avoided.
