This worked last time I tried it two years ago with whatever the current wine was then. Below is more info about my host machine. Debian Jessie 64 16GB ram Wine 2.0 (winehq-staging as installed per https://wiki.winehq.org/Debian) apt-cache policy output: Candidate: 2.0.0~jessie Version table: *** 2.0.0~jessie 0 Here is the URL to the program I am trying to run. http://www.tugsoft.com/ Here is the APPDB info on it. I don't know if your issue is the same but it's probably worth a try. In the other case, the issue was about the game process running out of addressing space. We found that setting the Large Address Aware flag on the game .exe is a workaround. There are various tools on the internet which can be used to do that (e.g. I found https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/large-address-aware.112556/ with a quick search). I did execute the Large Address Aware app (from your link) on the UOAssist.exe. I have attached the latest console output from the time I run wine UOAssist.exe until I kill UO because UOAssist crashed. I should pop over into #winehackers sometime.
