http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42131 LingM <lingm+winebz@posteo.org> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |lingm+winebz@posteo.org --- Comment #3 from LingM <lingm+winebz@posteo.org> --- The Wayback Machine does have a copy of the old downloader: https://web.archive.org/web/20170628150348/https://www.hdtracks.com/download...
$ du -h HDtracksDownloader200032.exe 5,1M HDtracksDownloader200032.exe $ md5sum HDtracksDownloader200032.exe b96c33a37e0990888541d8406fab8d6f HDtracksDownloader200032.exe
You can also still register an account by going to the main page https://www.hdtracks.com/, clicking on "Log In" on the left panel and then "Create New Account". One of those throwaway email services worked for me. However, entering the account details into the old downloader gives the error "There was a problem logging in. Please try again later". The complete output with Wine 11.3 is:
$ wine HDtracks\ Downloader.exe 0124:fixme:msg:ChangeWindowMessageFilter 8a28 00000001 012c:fixme:ver:GetCurrentPackageId (0234FF40 00000000): stub 012c:fixme:wininet:query_global_option INTERNET_OPTION_CONNECTED_STATE: semi-stub 012c:fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW Option 11 STUB
The two wininet fixmes repeat on each login attempt. Given how much the website changed, I suspect the downloader might simply no longer work. Although to be sure someone would have to test on native Windows. There's a new downloader available, which also appears to have problems, but that's for another bug. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42131 Andrew Nguyen <arethusa26@gmail.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED Resolution|--- |ABANDONED --- Comment #4 from Andrew Nguyen <arethusa26@gmail.com> --- I get the same login error with the old downloader on Windows 11, so I think it's reasonable to resolve this bug as abandoned and create new follow-up bug reports for currently reproducible problems. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42131 --- Comment #5 from LingM <lingm+winebz@posteo.org> --- Thanks for testing. Agreed, if it's broken on native Windows as well, resolving as abandoned is the right call. Filed bug 59495 for the misrendering UI of the new downloader. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42131 --- Comment #6 from KRosUser <kyle.kcsoftwares@gmail.com> --- OK, then worth abandonning this one and opening the new one, if not happpening in Windows ? -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42131 --- Comment #7 from LingM <lingm+winebz@posteo.org> --- Check the status. Andrew already marked it as abandoned. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
