Wine crashes when IE7 calls on an active X control in a web page. I tried a fresh install of wine and IE7 using wine tricks. I then tried built in wine IE and I get the same problem. I also tried a program that I know uses Active X and it also crashed wine. Sorry I am only a user and not a programer. I did a clean install of wine 1.7.6 this morning went to www.webselfstorage.com and IE7 froze on the first button I clicked on. The issue may also be related to java script as the site is heavy on that as well. The crash is no longer present as of wine 1.6.2 or later.
