Then go into a directory with a huge number of files/folders, like Z:\usr\bin (/usr/bin), should be plenty. Scroll to the right by pressing right arrow (the files should be in columns). While scrolling, the view is completely messed up. You need to Refresh it or force a redraw to display properly. I suspect it's some unimplemented "erase background" messages in Wine? This bug applies to every single version of Total Commander I tested: version 7 (which works with other issues in later versions!), version 8.52a (current) and even the version 9 beta.
