The "dispatch_exception EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION exception (code=c0000005) raised" got my attention when crashing. Also the crash isn't always reproducible, I would it crashes 95% of time at the same part, but there is a 5% chance that the game doesn't crashes at all (the crashes aren't experienced by Windows users). Also there is a "workaround" to decrease (just a little) the chances of the game crashing that is running the game with WINEDEBUG, as: WINEDEBUG=warn+all,-d3d,-d3d_perf,-wgl,-ntdll wine NovaRO.exe as said by a developer of the game it "Debug output is required to avoid a race condition in the client." steps to reproduce (after the game already installed, account and character already created): - type "@go mh" (without quotes) in the chat - go to the entrance at your front - select "play cutscene" option -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
