[Bug 13756] New: No sound when using OSS in Civilization I for Windows

In Civilization I for Windows the sound does not work when using OSS drivers
(and ALSA turned off). With ALSA enabled all works well in Civilization. In
other Wine apps (such as Counter-Strike 1.6) all works well even with OSS (i.e.
without ALSA).

When starting the program the following error reported:

err:module:load_builtin_dll failed to load .so lib for builtin L"winealsa.drv":
/usr/lib/libasound.so.2: undefined symbol: midiparser_input_buf
fixme:font:WineEngRemoveFontResourceEx :stub

What Linux distro are you using? 32 or 64 bit?

Ubuntu 8.04, 32-bit. Yes, Wine for that disro from winehq.org.

Works fine here with the same distro / wine package. The only difference is, I
get more crackling noises with the OSS driver.

Maybe you're missing some libraries? Please attach the output from ldd
/usr/lib/wine/winealsa.drv and ldd /usr/lib/libasound.so.2
