This does not occur in 1024x786 resolution. Attached is the output of wine. Note: Gothic 3 requires two helper dlls to start: d3dx9_36.dll and D3DX9_40.dll. Also note that the menus like inventory are drawn fine in the right stripe. But just the background is not updated (also when a menu is opened). I will attach some screenshots. A workaround is to change in game to a higher resolution and then change in game to a lower one ( 1600x1200 -> 1280x1024 ). Either it has been fixed in wine-1.1.19 or this is some odd workaround. The stripe also occurs with shader 1.4 and medium shadow quality. I get the feeling that bug 11535 was never fixed, only the in game settings where changed and the bug didn't show up any more.
