This was written for the Mac OS build machine maintained by Michael Müller and Sebastian Lackner. That machine is out of service as of Wine 5.8. The current plan is to ensure the replacement has a recent enough SDK to use fstatat(). These will required OS X 10.9 as I'm providing the current version of FAudio and OS X 10.8 can't really connect to anything anymore without workarounds. Still no binary for wine-5.14.
If your waiting in a Winehq package I wouldn’t hold your breath, it seems nobody wNt to take over making the macOS packages. I hope the new builder will have its source accessible so patches can be submitted as needed. Gijs and myself are working on new official Winehq packages but getting the desired gstreamer plugins to compile and work correctly for 32Bit is a PITA. If you want the latest versions of wine now you can grab them from my GitHub repository mention ins comment #1, the minimum for those packages is now macOS High Sierra however.
