I couldn't get a usable backtrace because Wine hangs after the crash. Although the game doesn't crash like Jedi Knight does, the screen is flashing, flickering insanely in Sanitarium. However, the flickering, blinking screen issue as well as the strange colors are still there. They were also caused by commit abf8728e1f2f966650eaa5528a1f593a6e1986bb. I think it's safe to mark this bug report as fixed.
