Reverting commit 9d34c44d8464722c333fdde5313b341504d3ea44 [xml2: Import upstream release 2.12.8. ] fixes the problem for me. Installing native msxml3 also acts as a workaround. Can be reproduced with the demo version. Reverting that commit (and fixing the merge conflicts) makes it work again. Not sure what to do with that info though.
