Previously I was using Wine Staging of version 10.12, multilib, and the game was running smoothly, without any sort of error. After some time, though, I had to reinstall the system from sctratch, and of course, I opted in to the new WoW64 backend. All I received is inability to even launch the game. I tried using the vanilla GOG version of Thief 3, and I tried to install the latest Sneaky Upgrade. It behaves differently in both cases. OS: Gentoo Linux x86_64 Kernel: 6.18.35-gentoo-r1 Video Card: NVIDIA GTX 2050 Mobile I'm attaching the vannila game log here. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. Have you tested standard, non-Staging Wine?

Just tested everything. The full version of Thief 3 behaves the same on vanilla Wine as on Wine Staging: it runs smoothly in a win32 prefix in the classic, multilib 32-bit mode, but crashes with an error in WoW64 mode. The demo, though, works smoothly both in WoW64 and in the classic 32-bit mode. I might also do the testing of the demo on Staging. Should I do that?
