http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=53914 Barath Kannan <barathrk11@gmail.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |barathrk11@gmail.com --- Comment #5 from Barath Kannan <barathrk11@gmail.com> --- Created attachment 80959 --> http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=80959 Video showing broken pivot animator Testing in Wine 11.9, I initially had the error: Failed to run module constructor due to (null) assembly:C \windows\mono\mono-2.0\lib\mono\4.5\mscorlib.dll type:TypeInitializationException member:(null) Referring to Bug45308, I was able to workaround it by using winetricks to install .NET native: winetricks -q dotnet48 The setup ran fine after that, and the application was installed. However the application appears to be broken(video attached). I am new to this, so would it be relevant to open a new bug for the same? Also, the logs captured during the video shall be attached in the next comment. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. Attached is a screenshot showing significant improvement for renderer=no3d (gdi) which otherwise defaults to renderer=gl (WINED3D) which seems bugged with many fixme:d2d logs vs nod3d with minor fixme:gdiplus logs. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=53914 --- Comment #8 from Stian Low <wineryyyyy@gmail.com> --- wine-staging-v11.9-4f9a1be5 seems to have same d2d bugs (renderer=gl/vulkan) so renderer=no3d (gdiplus) is a workaround until d2d bugs are fixed. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. would it be relevant to open a new bug for the same?
Opening a new bug to fix d2d bugs after installer fix seems appropriate with links to gdi/no3d workaround for now: https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=53914#c7 -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
