problem with apps in desktop mode

still many warnings from Mesa

As far as I can see, patches from Raphaël resolved many related warnings I used to see (Thanks!), but using XFree86 4.3 and Mesa 3.4.2 I still get the following. Copy & Paste doesn't work again
