We need the shadowfb for ddraw (esp. overlays, but also other corner cases) and swapeffect_flip, although in that case we ideally swap the FBOs and avoid the shadow backbuffer -> shadow frontbuffer blit and just do shadow frontbuffer -> GL_BACK -> swap.
