Possible WIne regression with Warcraft
Hi I've noticed a problem in wine recently. When I try and join a network game in Warcraft I can see the game but I'm unable to join it. I'm going to try rolling back to an old version of Wine, I currently use the latest git.
I'll post back if it does work.

I've rolled all the way back to 0.9.43 but I still can't join a Local Lan game (I don't use battlenet) So either the problem is in my setup (GCC 4.2.2 & Glibc 2.6.1) some random change in the Kernel or perhaps using the git tree randomly changed the registry which when rolled back still remains Any ideas folks? Let me take a wild guess. /etc/hosts resolves your hostname to a loopback address, like 127.0.1.1 or somesuch. If that's the case, please change /etc/hosts to make your hostname resolve to your network card's IP address. If that's not the case, please attach a +winsock log to bug 9787. I've not changed my hosts file sine forever and my games files have been at the latest version since it was released 1.21 i think neither of these things have changed from when it used to work and now. 127.0.0.1 tau.fireburn.co.uk tau localhost Is what's in my hosts file and has been this since I installed the system I'll atepmt a debug session sometime but I only have issues with network games so it'll be the next time I'm at my friends. Please fix your hosts file while your at it. It might not be this specific issue, but it's going to cause other problems for certain.
