BiDi is rarely a trivial amount of work. Even Microsoft are consistently unable to get this right, and usually when they try to improve it they just make it worse. On the other hand it is important and the time spent doing it properly well worth it to the community, and a great learning experience for the person implementing it.

Yes. I was 90% joking. I explained in a private mail to Krzysztof that merely building it with BiDi in mind, so that adding bidi in later won't be a horrible horrible task, would still make me ecstatic.
