New installation of WINE development version 10.15 on Linux Mint 22.2 (Ubuntu
Noble-based).
No winetricks used.
Installation OK. Can open an MP4 video (see #58716 for issue opening a JPEG).
Works well - can move within the video, make adjustments (alter contrast, white
balance, add vignette and light leak effects etc) with animated mouseover
previews of the effects - but crashes with the attached back trace on saving
the video after selecting size / format. Happens with asking for both .mov and
.mp4 output.

wined3d: Compile the clear compute shaders at runtime.
Affinity Photo 2 can no longer start after the above commit was made. I
narrowed this down by bisecting and rebuilding wine.
The application no longer starts. It has a splash screen, and was not even
getting to that point.
System details:
OS: Manjaro Linux x86_64
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS with Radeon Graphics (16) @ 4.935GHz
GPU: AMD ATI Radeon 680M
GPU: AMD ATI Radeon RX 6650 XT / 6700S / 6800S
Window manager: Sway, however the application is run using xwayland.
Extra configure flags:
../configure \
--prefix='/usr' \
--libdir='/usr/lib' \
--with-x \
--enable-win64 \
--with-wayland \
-C
Running affinity photo requires
1. winetricks dotnet48 corefonts
2. You do not need a license to reproduce.
3. some off mainline commits:

Long story short, up to wine 8.8 you get about 2300fps with my 2080 and 9600K
in an old nvidia showcase. After that, it's more like 2150.
Of course it's just a little 7% difference, but it's completely reproducible,
so..
p.s. DXVK and the patch for bug 32323 are also needed to "unlock full speed"
(the sources clearly show a D3DXCreateFont call for Arial, but is it expected
to take a 40% framerate hit without the fonts otherwise?)

final result 2-0 or 1-0.
I get no stange message in the terminal.

reading the title of the mr makes sense, however this completely breaks
fullscreen for fallout 3 and new vegas, and im sure other older games
as mentioned https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=58442 - there have been a
lot of fullscreen/focus/window bugs so it's hard to tell what all is what
i spent a bunch of time to just bisect so i'll have to look for what is going
on tomorrow

Summary: winewayland unconditionally sends RCtrl when pressing
RAlt
Product: Wine
Version: 10.13
Hardware: x86-64

Status: UNCONFIRMED

In dlls/winewayland.drv/wayland_keyboard.c, at line 831 (as of 10.13 sources),
there is an unconditional Right Control forced when pressing the Right Alt key,
regardless of keyboard layout, shown here:
/* NOTE: Windows normally sends VK_CONTROL + VK_MENU only if the layout has
KLLF_ALTGR */
if (key == KEY_RIGHTALT) send_right_control(hwnd, state);
This interferes with "us" keyboard layouts and programs that treat left and
right alt keys independently. This differs from XWayland where a R_ALT keypress
is sent through unmodified for the "us" layout.
The line in question has a comment mentioning that this should only happen when
KLLF_ALTGR is specified. There are layouts with that specified, but this check
does not factor that in when deciding to send R_CTRL.

After updating to WINE 10.13, foobar2000 no longer opens successfully. The
window appears with blank panels and then crashes and closes. Reverting to WINE
10.12 fixes the issue.
I've compared both WINE versions in a new WINEPREFIX with a portable
installation of foobar2000-x64_v2.24.6. I'm using Arch with an up-to-date
system. The terminal output of both runs as well as foobar2000's crash report
are shown here:
