For the record, the right recipe for those trying
to install Flash CS3 is
  rm -rf ~/.wine
  sh winetricks vcrun6 wsh56 msxml3 
and then you have to set windows version 2003.
Otherwise its installer is unhappy.
Unfortunately, once past those problems, its installer
is still unhappy because of bug 8945.
