Does the same application behave better on the dual-core system on Windows?  If
not, this isn't a Wine bug.  (Even if so, it's not necessarily a Wine bug, it
could be in the kernel or in your video card drivers or elsewhere.)

I'm afraid you'll have to do more debugging before you can say for sure where
the bug lies..
