Output of "make install"

trying to install wine after compiling.
did follwoing:
 ./configure --without-xml --enable-win64
#so i can run 64 bit apps and NOT come across this XML dependancy and problem
make depend
#as a few README are saying
make -j 20
#8 core AMD, so...
make install &>> ~/wineinstall.log
#well, the last step is pretty obvious


last step was done as root.

about lib that gives headache:

dev-libs/libxml2

      Description:   Version 2 of the library to manipulate XML files

The 2.8 version is badly masked and doesn't actually compile on my machine as
far as I remember. So stuff is really buggy.
