If it's true we should check that first of course. I was able at last to reproduce the bug on my machine. It happens that the attached patch, applied after all the others, does fix the bug. I thought this last patch was not relevant, since it was for a different program. But reverting this private patch makes the bug reappear. So I am posting it here.
