Oddly, there is a file of the same name on the CD that does. It's a different size, though. And what do you know... running with WINEDEBUG=warn+heap, that file just grows forever until you kill the installer, and if you hexdump it, it has a whole bunch of 0x55's and 0xaa's in it. Sounds like a bug... though I don't know if it's in installshield or in wine. Time to run it under valgrind, I guess. The game is not playable at all. I have played the game before and this part has worked as well so it is a regression. I tried GDI instead of opengl, and setting the emulation to Windows 95. Can't figure out anything that would change the behaviour. Meaning that no tracker hosts are found not to mention no payload moving etc. Also I am seeing "WARNING: Trying to create a socket of type SOCK_RAW, this will fail unless you have special permissions." at the console.
