It does, however, still work in Wine up until version 8.3. On the current Wine version, the games launcher starts and updates the game. Afterwards the games .exe starts and you can see it in the process list. However, the game window does not show up. The game developers have introduced a niche Unity store anti-cheat solution with version 450, so this might be an issue. However, since the game still runs in Wine 8.3, there seems to be a way to also have it run on current versions. It is possible to download and install the game without having a game account. The error occurs right after the games .exe starts up, before the login window appears. While I managed to launch the game and even played a few matches, when I got to certain game mode, called Master League, the game frozen with winedbg running in the background and the game would crash. You can find the attachment for the debug. I am running Bazzite KDE 43 with a Ryzen 5 5600 + RTX 3080. I am new to submitting bugs on Wine. I receive a notice that there's an error and Battle.net has to shut down. I close it, and the error shows up again. This continues in a cycle until I use "wineserver -k" to exit. The backtrace saved from this has been attached. I am able to use the Settings button on the login screen for the Battle.net app, as well as typing in a username/password, but I cannot go any farther than that because there is no submit button and it doesn't seem to want to load. Be aware that I had previously been loading Starcraft II directly using the SC2Switcher.exe executable, but because a new version needs to be downloaded, I'm needing to get into the Battle.net app. Not sure if not using the app is a side effect. After launching it, I was surprised to find that it ran at only 30 fps in the hub area, while on windows it runs at 60. It is seemingly ok in the gameplay, but fps is often several values short of 60, and there are also rarer drops to 30 for several seconds. There are no warnings in the console other than related to directsound. DXVK works at a locked 60 fps, so that means that it's a problem with wined3d. After a fresh install of linux, I keep getting this error using the same wineprefix as before as well as after a completely new install in a brand new wineprefix. I've also tried winearch win32 and win64 (trying both 32 bit and 64 bit versions of photoshop.exe in the wine64 winearch) with the same results.
