Open topdraw, open the shape window pressing "Shapes Tools" in the floating toolbar. This happens also if you cover and uncover this tool window. The installer starts up, but terminates with the message "Python 2.4.2 setup ended prematurely ..." after passing through some pages of the dialog (I chose "install for all users" and accepted the defaults for the remaining options). I started the installer by WINEDEBUG=warn+all wine .wine/drive_c/windows/system32/msiexec.exe -I python-2.4.2.msi 2> msi_error.txt I hope you are able to reproduce this. I am using Linux, Debian sarge/i386 2.6.15. Using the Microsoft installer, I am able to install Python without problems. All the best!
