This is not fully reproducable and sometimes happens _before_ the installer comes up and once it appeared after entering the serial-key. The error does not seem to change anything in the installation-process, the installer runs normally after it. What the hack is FairUse? Is it a copy-protection? You can size it by moving the window down by dragging the upper bar to the lower right, then you can catch the double sizing arrows on the upper left. The crashes don't occur when sound is disabled through winecfg, or through the game itself, however, because the driver of the car at the start of the game doesn't say anything, you get out of the car earlier which results in you being stuck inside/behind the rubbish bin and you can't move back to the other side.
